India slams Pakistan in UNSC Pakistan was shouting Kashmir as soon as it became a temporary member

India Slams Pakistan: India has given a befitting reply to Pakistan during the debate on children and armed conflict in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Rejecting the comment made by the Pakistani diplomat on the Kashmir issue, India strongly condemned it. India said that this is Pakistan’s habitual effort to divert attention from the serious violations against children in Pakistan. Pakistan has recently become a temporary member of the UNSC for two years, since then it has been misusing this platform.

India’s Deputy Permanent Representative and Charge d’Affaires to the UNSC R Ravindra said on Wednesday, “Keeping in mind the limited time, I would like to respond in few words to the comments made against my country by a representative of a country. These comments are clearly politically motivated and baseless. India completely rejects and condemns these baseless comments.”

R Ravindra made this comment against Pakistan during an open debate on children and armed conflict at the United Nations. Ravindra said that this is nothing different, but an attempt to divert attention from the serious violations against children in Pakistan, which continue unabated in his country. He said that the issue of Pakistan has also been recorded in this year’s report of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on children and armed conflict.

What did India say in the United Nations?
India’s representative in the United Nations said, ‘As far as Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are concerned, they have always been and will always remain integral and inseparable parts of India. No matter what the said representative or his country believes or wishes.’ In fact, Pakistan’s envoy to the UNSC, Munir Akram, had discussed Jammu and Kashmir in detail during the open debate on children and armed conflict, after which India’s representative has responded.
